Teacher of the Year 2023: Anders Østergaard Madsen
Anders Østergaard Madsen has been named “Teacher of the Year 2023” by the students.
Every year the students from the pharmaceutical sciences vote for a teacher to become Teacher of the Year. Chairman Tobias Fox Maule and deputy chairman Nadja Hodzic from Students of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SOP) surprised Anders in the middle of his presentation at our Dialogue meeting in front of everyone.
In the nomination of Anders, the students mentioned his ability to include all students, his patience with them and the fact that he is not only a great teacher but also loves it.
In her speech to Anders Østergaard, Nadja Hodzic gave the students’ reasons for their nomination of him: “The students have described you as someone who not only loves to teach, you are also patient and you really make sure to include all of your students. You make sure that everyone understands the subject and a few of them even said that they don't think they would have passed Chemical Principles if it hadn’t been for you.”
Along with the nomination as “Teacher of the Year”, Anders received the traditional gift of the sculpture by Keld Moseholm.
