Anette Müllertz receives DNA’s Industripris 2024

DNA, Danmarks Naturvidenskabelige Akademi (Denmark’s Science Academy), has awarded Professor Anette Müllertz the prestigious prize in recognition of her impressive career where she has united experience from both industry and academia. The prize was presented to her by Professor Claus Hélix-Nielsen.

Anette Müllertz has been a professor here at Department of Pharmacy since 2015, where she excels in drug delivery, drug dissolution, drug absorption and many other subjects, heading the Physiological Pharmaceutics group. In addition, she is Head of Bioneer:FARMA, an R&D company that helps life science companies discover, develop and produce early drug candidates.

In their official statement, DNA describes Anette Müllertz’ career as “an exceptional combination of academic depth and understanding of the industry. She has, in a remarkable way, managed to bridge the gap between research and the pharmaceutical industry, so that the latest scientific findings quickly and efficiently are translated into industrial solutions.”
