The main focus of his research is to understand the nanoparticle surface interactions with gastrointestinal molecules. His expertise includes synchrotron and neutron scattering/reflection techniques (e.g., SAXS/SANS and neutron reflectometry) to model the colloidal structures of nanoparticles and self-assembled biological molecules.

Aside from his fundemental research, he has previously participated in the regulatory review on the nanomaterials safety during his appointment as a Research Assistant at the Prime Minister's Chief Science Advisor's Office (New Zealand).

Professional experience:

2020 – 2022 : Postdoctoral fellow, University of Auckland (Chemistry)
