Senior Laboratory Technician

I have strong competencies in formulation and drug delivery through 17 years of experience.

The main research interest within our group is advanced drug delivery aiming at designing new vaccine and nucleic acid delivery systems based on nanoparticles to improve therapy.

My core expertise is design and physicochemical characterization of advanced nanoparticle-based delivery systems (liposomes, nanoparticles and hybrid-nanoparticles) for biopharmaceuticals and investigation of the physical stability of proteins.

More specifically, my specific tasks are

Research:

  •  Design, execution and organization of specific research tasks related to the projects I am involved in
  •  Overall coordination of the group's research facilities

Laboratory coordination:

  •  Maintenance and update of equipment and software
  •  Maintenamce of the group's quality assurance system
  •  Maintenance of internal data bases
  •  Ordering

Dissemination:

  •  Contribution to the groups' communication of the research results (conferences)
  •  Communication with internal and external collaborators
  •  Participation in scientific meetings
  •  Maintenance and update of the research group's home page

Teaching:

  • Instruction of group's master students, PhD students and post-docs.
