In vitro release and dissolution testing

Drug release and dissolution testing are key activities in the development of drug delivery systems. We focus on development of in vitro drug release methods capable of mimicking the conditions at the in vivo site of administration for various depot formulation types. We use different in vitro model setups, e.g. UV-imaging technology, dialysis-based methods, gel column-based continuous-flow systems, microfluidic systems also in combination with modeling tools including finite element simulations.
