Fudan University aims to strengthen its cooperation with the University of Copenhagen and CORS

On April 3, 2018, Fudan University delegates have visited the University of Copenhagen to discuss the initiatives and commitments on joint projects between the two universities.

Back in 2016, the Copenhagen Centre for Regulatory Science (CORS) initiated a collaboration with Fudan University, when the latter established the Sino-Danish Regulatory Science Center inspired by amongst others CORS.

At the moment, Prof. Guang Ning has been appointed as director for the Sino-Danish Regulatory Science Center. The centre is committed to cooperating with both local and global experts on regulatory science, thus being interested in further collaboration with the University of Copenhagen and CORS in the area of research and postgraduate education. On that account, Fudan University delegates, Prof. Guang Ning, Prof. Ming-Wei Wang, and Dr.Ridong Wang, discussed the prospective joint projects with the University of Copenhagen, among which was also the international student exchange programs. From University of Copenhagen’s side, Dr. Flemming Madsen, Prof. Sven Frøkjær, and Prof. Marieke de Bruin have provided their views on how both universities and centres can facilitate the cooperation and execute the joint projects. Additionally, Dr. Jens Heisterberg (Novo Nordisk, Denmark) has also presented the program for MSc students’ research projects at Novo Nordisk and emphasized the research opportunities the Chinese students can be offered in Copenhagen.
