CORS joins Pharmacoepidemiology Research Collaboration (PRC)

Research collaboration

PRC aims to develop and maintain methodological standards and governance principles for pharmacoepidemiological research.

Pharmacoepidemiology embraces the research methods used to study drug safety, public health effects of drug regulation and medicines use in society.

The Pharmacovigilance Research Group at the Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology (Professor Morten Andersen), the Section of Social and Clinical Pharmacy at the Department of Pharmacy (Professor Anna Birna Almarsdóttir) and the multidisciplinary Copenhagen Centre for Regulatory Science (Professor Marie Louise De Bruin) have joined efforts and established the Pharmacoepidemiology Research Collaboration (PRC) at the University of Copenhagen.

PRC aims to develop and maintain methodological standards and governance principles for pharmacoepidemiological research and is a member of the European Network of Centres for Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance (ENCePP).
