Research results on cover of Lab-on-a-Chip journal

ARTICLE

A research article by Assistant Professor Josiane Lafleur and co-workers at the Department of Pharmacy has recently been highlighted on the cover of the prestigious Lab-on-a-Chip journal.

The original research article entitled "Rapid and simple preparation of thiol-ene emulsion-templated monoliths and their application as enzymatic microreactors" by Assistant Professor Josiane Lafleur and co-workers at the Department of Pharmacy has recently been highlighted on the cover of the prestigious Lab-on-a-Chip journal. (Lab Chip, 2015, vol. 15, p. 2162)

Lafleur and co-workers have shown a simple method to prepare high-surface monoliths inside microfluidic channels and to coat the surface with enzymes to realize efficient and stable enzyme reactors. The technology developed has great potential for various sample preparation steps towards routine and high throughput drug analysis using microfluidic devices.
