Postdoc

Haniyeh Etezadi is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Copenhagen, where she has been a faculty member since 2021. Specializing in the study of biomolecular coronas on nanoparticles, a critical area of research in drug delivery systems, Dr. Etezadi earned her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, focusing on the development and characterization of various polymeric and lipid-based formulations. Her current research is dedicated to understanding the formation and behavior of the gastrointestinal biomolecular corona, which forms around polymers with different properties in the gastrointestinal tract. This research is divided into two main categories: detecting the composition of biomolecular coronas on the surface of nanoparticles using advanced analytical tools like LC-MS/MS and HPLC-DAD/CAD, and examining the structural details of these coronas with cryo-TEM microscopy. Through her innovative work, Dr. Etezadi aims to uncover how these biomolecular interactions can enhance the efficacy of drug delivery systems.
